The Money Mirror

See exactly where you stand, and the steps to where you want to be.

Most people never see their whole financial picture in one place. Bank accounts here, a credit card there, a loan statement in a drawer, super somewhere they haven't checked in years. It's hard to fix what you can't see.

The Money Mirror changes that. It's a personal report, prepared for you, that brings everything together and reflects an honest, clear picture of your finances today, along with practical steps to improve them.

What you get

  • Your snapshot at a glance. A one-page summary of your cash flow, debt, savings buffer, net worth, insurances and super, each marked Strong, Watch or Action.
  • Your Mirror Score. A score out of 100, calculated from your own figures using fixed, transparent rules. It's a simple way to measure your progress from one year to the next.
  • Your key numbers, explained. Your savings rate, emergency buffer, debt-to-income and more, in plain English, with what each one means.
  • What we noticed. Your strengths, and the areas of income, spending and debt where small changes could make a big difference.
  • Your action plan. Practical steps you can take yourself, using Money Syndicates tools like Budget Pulse and the Debt Snowball Calculator.
  • Opportunities to explore. Where your numbers suggest it's worth a conversation, such as a home loan review, debt conversion or investing, we point you to the right appropriately licensed professional.

How it works

1

Complete your statement online. A secure, step-by-step form covering what you earn, spend, own and owe. It takes about 20-30 minutes, and you can save and come back.

2

We prepare your report. Your Money Mentor reviews your figures personally and prepares your Money Mirror report within 3 Business Days.

3

You receive your report. You'll be notified when it's ready, along with your Mirror Score and your plan.

4

Review it every year. Update your figures each year and see how far you've come.

Why “The Money Mirror”?

Because a mirror doesn't judge. It simply shows you what's there. Everything in your report comes from your own numbers, reflected clearly so you can decide what to do next. No sales pitch, no judgement, just an honest look at where you stand.

Common questions

Is this financial advice?

No. The Money Mirror gives you factual and general information about your own figures. It isn't personal financial product advice, credit assistance or tax advice. If your report identifies something worth exploring, we'll refer you to an appropriately licensed professional who can give you personal advice.

Who sees my information?

Your information is stored securely and used only to prepare your report. It is never emailed, and it is never shared with anyone else without your separate permission. See our Privacy Policy.

Can my partner and I do it together?

Yes. The statement handles one or two people, so couples can see their combined picture, including what belongs to whom.

What if I don't know some of my figures?

That's normal. Use your best estimate, and the form includes tips on where to find each figure. You can save your progress and come back once you've checked.

Do I need to be in debt to benefit?

Not at all. Whether you're digging out of debt or ready to start building wealth, knowing exactly where you stand is the first step.
